To be held in Barcelona, Spain form September 18 to 20, 2027, the 2027 Global Conference on Heritage and Sustainable Development (GCHSD 2027) will bring together scholars, heritage professionals, planners, policy makers, and industry representatives from around the world to exchange insights into innovative theories, methodologies, and practices that support the long-term conservation and sustainable utilization of heritage resources.
The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and cross-sector collaboration by bridging heritage studies, urban and regional planning, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic development. By providing an open and collaborative forum, it seeks to promote the sharing of cutting-edge research, best practices, and forward-looking policy perspectives, ultimately contributing to resilient communities, cultural continuity, and sustainable development at local, regional, and global scales.

Manuscripts can be submitted via the conference email inquiry@gchsd.cn, or through the Online Submission System (will be available soon).

Only original papers will be considered. The manuscripts must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere. Must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the review cycle.
Authors are encouraged to check the similarity index of their paper before submission. Papers suspected of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, repeated publication, etc. will be rejected without further consideration.
Registered and presented full papers will be included in the GCHSD 2027 digital conference proceedings and submitted to major citation databases (including, but not limited to Scopus) for review and indexing.
